Idea
- Meet and greet RTP area and WWW2010 attendees that are interested in XML based technologies and solutions.
- Some topics of interest might be XML, XQuery, XSLT, XPath, Dynamic Document Publishing, Use of XML in the industry, etc.
- Discuss your work and thoughts with like minded individuals in an informal setting over dinner and cocktails.
- Andrew Spyker (email address listed below) is organizing event - please email him for more info
- Note that while Andrew works for IBM, IBM is in no way sponsoring this event
Time
- Tuesday 4/27 - 7:00 - 12:00
- Dinner starting at 7:00, Ending around 9:00
- Good time for informal introductions, get to know the group
- Drinks from 9:00 until close (12:00)
- Good time for more targeted discussions
- Align with WWW2010 Raleigh - http://www2010.org/www/
- Note that this isn't officially associated with the WWW2010 conference. Therefore, you can attend without being registered for the conference.
Cost
- You will be expected to pay your own bill. There is no company sponsoring the event.
